Awash in Color: Watercolors in the Princeton University Art Museum
Rarely on view due to their sensitivity to light, the Art Museum’s over 600 watercolors, primarily American and British, are distinguished by their quality of execution and breadth of subject matter. Laura Giles, Heather and Paul G. Haaga Jr., Class of 1970, Curator of Prints and Drawings, explores a compelling cross section of watercolors that exemplify the universal appeal of this exacting medium, with a particular emphasis on women artists.
