Africa Summit at Princeton Spring Symposium
2020 was a tumultuous year for Africa and featured immense social, political, and economic change. A reimagining of a more just world begins with an equal playing field. In its absence, inequities will continue to grow deeper with Africa increasingly being left out. The lack of widespread COVID vaccines means the continent and its people may be unable to reach their potential. It is from these scenarios that we would like to engage in an informed, dynamic and inclusive discussion regarding the role of African Youth in driving change in the continent and beyond in the diaspora. . Our Spring Symposium's theme will be unpackaged through three separate virtual panel sessions on:

Panel 1: COVID-19 and Vaccine Equity in Africa (9-10:30AM)
Panel 2: Empowering the Next Generation of African Entrepreneurs (11:00AM-12:15PM)
Panel 3: Youth engagement in Social and Political spaces (12:30PM-2:00PM)

Through these sessions, the Symposium will explore approaches that can contribute to a lasting prosperity that is resilient. For more information on panels and speakers please go to africasummitprinceton.org
